Macaws are WILD creatures who belong not in captivity, but in their natural habitat. We humans have removed them, often clip their beautiful wings (their biggest natural gift) and stick them in cages. We expect them to adopt our civilized ways, and that is when the problems start. Often these problems send birds bouncing from home to home to home throughout the very long years of their lives.
